Your Earl Grey

Your Earl Grey is a loose leaf tea package inspired by the work of Olafur Eliasson. Designed in a packaging studio course, the project was to choose an architect and use their work as inspiration for tea packaging. My goal was to take the sensory experiences found in both Eliasson's work and the act of drinking tea and translate them into the packaging. I wanted to play with elements of light and space to create the illusion that the top container is floating above the bottom. The infuser is stored in the top allowing for a playful interaction between the translucency of the box and the patterned infuser within.
